Hyperhydrosis (Excessive Sweating )

Defination: Excessive sweating;May be localised or generalised.                           Aetiology:                                                 1.  Anxiety.                                               2.  Infections e.g. malaria,T.B. And Brucellosis.                                                 3.Endocrine e.g. Diabetes,Hyperthyroidism,Hyperpituitarism and menopause.                                  4. Neurological- Any lesion of sympathetic pathway from the brain to the nerve endings.                                   5. Drugs e.g. Mecholyl and alcohol.         6.  Obasity.                                                  7.Malignancy.                                         8.
