Usually due to candida or bacterial infection (Staph,proteus,Pseudomonas)maceratio,swelling and separation of nail fold commonly in person exposing to detergent,excessive water work or liquid work,and after trauma.During treatment keep the hand dry and use gloves and hot fomentation is important.
