Acute cases are best treated with Apis if the lesions are mainly on the face,or by Urtica if the lesions are on the limbs.
Apis: Burning and stining,especially with oedema of the eyelids and the lips.
Croton : When there is more itcing than burning,especially of the genitals,male or female.
Dulcamara: For urticaria involving mainly the lower half of the body.
Lycopodium: For chronic or persistent uricaria,worse between 4 pm and 8 pm.Natrum Mur: When the lesions develop after strenous exercise.
Nux Vom : With mental irritability and intolerance,leading to much scratching.
Rhustox : Burning and itching,sometimes with vesicles.
Rumex:Worse when undressing.
Ruta: When there is dydpepsia as well as urticaria.
Sulphuric acid: If accompanied by he typical soreness of acid burns.
Urtica: For true nettle rash,but also valueable as first aid for urticaria due to other plants.
